Report on Our Success at the recent Singapore Garden Festival 2008!
Many thanks to all our supporters at the recent Garden Festival. Even before our official opening, we had testimonials from the ground staff who bought our lucky clovers at the previous exhibitions. Daily, we had many who bought the Julie Roberts' lucky clover some 2-3 years ago, came back for more. A number of regulars, including new customers, came back for the newly launched 6 leaf clover too. Most would have remembered Kelly and Mervyn, who first franchised Julie Roberts' lucky clover to sell at VivoCity since May'07. More than a year had passed and Petal and Cloe, their registered company , has been doing well. So well that Kelly and Mervyn, with the profits and savings made, recently opened their very own shop at VivoCity; selling their own brand of jewellery. In order for Kelly and Mervyn to focus on their new venture, the franchised push-cart is now manned by 5 energetic undergraduates led by Pung Wei Chieh. The 5 young budding entreprenurs were once customers of Julie Roberts'. They are, Wei Chieh, Alfred Choo,Tan Xue Yu, Eugene Tan and Tan H. Y. Seeing the potential of the business and with their eagerness to learn to be entrepreneurs, they agreed to be Robert's franchisee too. Mervyn is also gracious to lent a helping hand to facilitate their emersion into the business. The 5 budding entrepreneurs will be stationed at VivoCity from Jun-Aug '08 during their university term vacation. One month had passed and they are doing very well. To their surprised they are already making profits. Thanks to all the support from our wonderful customers. If you happen to be there, please do give them your encouragement.
